Description

BLUE SEA SYSTEMS
2-Position ELCI Main 30A, 2 Poles with Voltmeter

Protect passengers and swimmers by adding an ELCI breaker traditional metal panel

Equipment Leakage Circuit Interrupter (ELCI) breaker panels protect not only everyone on your boat, but also those in the surrounding water from accidental electric shock. A ground failure in an appliance (ground fault) or a loose grounding wire (faulty ground) can create a dangerous and possibly life threatening situation. Current, if leaked into the water, can paralyze swimmers causing them to drown. The risk is significantly higher in fresh or brackish water.

Blue Sea Systems Panels reflect the quality and attention to detail that premier yacht designers and builders specify for the finest custom and production yachts, as well as commercial vessels worldwide. These panels are cut from heavy 1/8″ 5052 aluminum alloy and coated with a two-part polyurethane slate finish. Blue Sea Systems offers a wide variety of compatible breakers to make these panels an easy choice for users and installers alike.

This panel comes pre-assembled with A-Series ELCI main that will trip if there is an imbalance in current between hot and neutral conductors caused by a faulty ground or ground fault. Two additional A-Series 15A branch breakers are provided for AC circuits. An AC analog voltmeter provides valuable system information and allows users to monitor changes in the system before they become issues. Green LEDs indicate the breakers are in the ON position and a Red LED alerts users to reverse polarity. Installation of an ELCI breaker, when installed following their guidelines, meets ABYC E-11 requirements.
